Program Description

The strand Humanities and Social Sciences (HUMSS) offers a course of study that exposes the students to a variety of subjects that develop them how to reason, question and communicate more effectively, discover how to solve problems creatively and most importantly, this strand guides the students in making decision to further their studies in college or begin work immediately after graduation.

Program Educational Objectives

The AMAES HUMSS Academic strand has the following program educational objectives which will be achieved after graduating from senior high school. These are:

1. Continue their baccalaureate degree in journalism, communication arts, liberal arts, education and other social science-related courses in college or university.
2. Contribute to the nation by joining the work force in HUMSS related jobs.

Career Prospects

An accounting, business and management program prepares students for a career in business, accounting and management which may stretch across any sector and industry. Graduates can also go on further study in college or in a university. The HUMSS graduates from AMAES can join the workforce as:

· Public Relations man
· Salesperson
· Researcher
· Reporter or travel agent
· Community worker
· Writer
